Undoubtedly, Abraham Lincoln would not have met some of the modern fraternity tests in polished appearance, bank and bond holdings, but he did possess what is better still, that wealth of character which has ever been the standard of Tau Kappa Epsilon. o Most recently, an article in yesterdays New York Times provides more national exposure to our academic strengths (in research and teaching) than ever before. History has shown that Tekes are undeterred and undaunted by threats to the Fraternity. We have just completed our self-study for the upcoming Middle State Accreditation and we are implementing our new strategic plan (greater detail about my comments can be found in those two documents).
